How Energy Healing Helped With . . . a Severe Burn Accident

Chico is an amazing inspiration to me. In the past few days, I have seen him grow more and more confident and curious, like he used to be. Just a few months ago, he was caught inside the engine compartment of my truck that had been driven about five miles. I can still remember the shock of opening the hood to see his frightened eyes. My heart sank to my feet and I screamed! I haven't felt that kind of panic in many years.

I immediately called 911 and they told me it could be hours before they could get someone to help. Fortunately, Chico was able to calm down and untangle himself from the vehicle. He kept crying as I held him all the way to the hospital. After a few days, the doctors asked us if my girlfriend and I were ready to put him to sleep. Chico had burns that covered 50% of his body, including a really bad burn on his left paw. The Vet said she had never seen a cat recover from something like this. Heidi asked me what we should do and I remembered Kim specialized in Reiki for pets. I figured that Chico could use some healing light even if he was preparing to leave his body. Kim was on vacation, but I figured I should at least try to get a hold of her.

She responded immediately. Kim was phenomenal. She gave Chico two long distance healing sessions and told me not blame myself for the accident. Her words were very important to me. When Heidi went to see Chico for the last time he greeted her with purring and hopped right into her lap. The Vet was amazed and said to take him home to see if he would get better. It took Chico nearly six months to completely recover from his burns. Now he has hair all over his belly again and his paw is back to normal.

Seeing the miracle of healing in Chico has deepened my spiritual practice. Every time I see Chico I am reminded that miracles do happen and I am reminded that amazing people like Kim are here to help us! Heidi, Chico, and I owe her an endless debt of gratitude.
